A Scandinavian Business Seating chair is built to withstand stress and to last.
All chairs is therefor rigorous tested and approved according to known standards for different markets. 

We also give 10-year guarantees on most of our chairs. Because we prioritise quality in everything we do, SB Seating as company is certified in accordance with ISO 9001.

We consider 3 main categories of quality:

Technical quality - Validation criteria – testing-standards & norms – guarantee. 

 Our seating products should comply with all main standards & norms relevant to their segment & market, meaning  e.g. EN 1335-1 for task chairs, NPR 1813 for the Benelux, GS mark for Germany, BS 5459-2 for UK, Swedish Mobelfakta and ANSI BIFMA for US etc. 

 Some chair models comply also with fire resistant-, clean room- and ESD ( electro static discharge)- requirements.

 Service Quality - Efficient and predictable business processes- Handling of claims – after sales service.

 The product should correspond to the user`s expectations. Precision, tactility, force feedback and noise are important factors here.

 Perceived Quality - End user experience – Surface and finishes- Materials and meeting between materials- smooth and intuitive functions

Guarantee
General terms and conditions.

Scandinavian Business Seating’s warranty covers all HÅG, RBM, RH and BMA chairs against:
Material and manufacturing faults and defects from the chair’s production date
The warranty covers any necessary spare parts. Normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty. The warranty is conditional on the chair and fabrics/leather undergoing normal cleaning.

Spare parts guarantee
Scandinavian Business Seating guarantees the delivery of spare parts for a minimum of 10 years after the chair’s production date. The guarantee covers the parts necessary to maintain the chair’s original functionality.

HÅG – 10 year warranty for HÅG products
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 10 year warranty for all HÅG chairs that are in normal use for up to 9 hours per day. Unless otherwise specified, the maximum weight for users is 110 kg. 

24/7 – 5 year warranty.
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 5 year warranty for HÅG chairs that are specifically purchased for 24 hour use and which are upholstered in 24/7 approved fabrics/leather from Scandinavian Business Seating's Standard Fabric collection. 

9 hours/day – 5 year warranty.
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 5 year warranty for all HÅG chairs that are in normal use for more than 9 hours per day. 

RH – 10 year Warranty for RH Products
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 10 year warranty for all RH chairs that are used under normal conditions for up to 9 hours per day. For normal usage that exceeds 9 hours a day RH provides a 5 year warranty on all RH Chairs. Unless otherwise specified, the maximum weight for users is 150 kg. 

24/7 - 5 Year Warranty 
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 5 year warranty for RH chairs that are approved for control room or 24/7 use. Upholstery is not covered under these terms unless its an RH approved 24/7 fabric.

9 hours/day - 5 Year Warranty
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 5 year warranty for all RH chairs that are in normal use for more than 9 hours per day.

BMA - 10 Year warranty
The BMA Ergonomics product range consists of three groups:

1 - office chairs and visitors chairs
2 - ESD and cleanroom chairs
3 - 24/7 chairs and chairs with Smart Chair technologyAll Axia Classic ergonomic office chairs meet the latest standards EN 1335 and NPR 1813

The following applies to product groups 1 and 2:
BMA Ergonomics gives a 10 (ten) year factory warranty, of which 3 (three) years is fully comprehensive for all new products delivered.

The following applies to product group 3:
BMA Ergonomics gives a 3 (three) year, fully comprehensive warranty on all new products that have been delivered, except for the electrical components (Smart Chair technology). A one 1 (one) year, comprehensive warranty applies to these items.

RBM – 6 year warranty for RBM products
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 6 year warranty for all RBM Chairs/tables that are in normal use for up to 9 hours per day. Please also see the general warranty terms and conditions. Covers chairs and tables delivered after 01.02.2010 Unless otherwise specified, the maximum weight for users is 110 kg.

24/7 - 2 year warranty
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 2 year warranty for RBM office chairs that are specifically purchased for 24 hour use and which are upholstered in 24/7 approved fabrics/leather from Scandinavian Business Seating’s Standard Textile & Colour Collection.
