Station F

Station F is the world's largest startup campus. Designed by the renowned architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, it offers high-quality workspaces designed to spark innovation and creativity. Station F undertook a redesign project focused on enhancing the comfort and aesthetics of their meeting rooms. The existing chairs were in poor condition, frequently moved between rooms by users, prompting the need for a practical and adaptable seating solution.

After a period of consultation, Profim Noor chairs were selected from the Flokk portfolio, specifically the Profim Noor 6070s swivel chairs on casters. These chairs feature a polypropylene shell and an upholstered seat.

Anthony Guille, Building Manager of Station F, met with the Flokk team to explore suitable solutions. Although the initial project focused on refurbishing lounges, the poor condition of the meeting room chairs redirected the decision to replace them with Profim Noor 6070s chairs. Key factors in this decision included the chairs' aesthetic appeal, maintenance ease, and long-term durability.

To harmonise the redesigned meeting rooms, each chair was covered in fabrics matching the graffiti on the walls, with each room assigned a specific colour. This not only facilitated space management but also created a lively and energising atmosphere from the entrance hall onwards.

Each room's specific colour scheme helped maintain order and ease for the cleaning team, ensuring chairs were returned to their designated rooms. This approach proved practical and visually appealing, contributing to an organized and dynamic workspace.

The positive feedback from internal staff reflects the success of the project. Anthony, responsible for managing Station F, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, particularly noting the comfort of the seating and the practical benefits of the color-coded system. The chairs not only met the comfort requirements but also aligned perfectly with the aesthetic vision of the redesigned spaces.

The collaboration between Flokk and Station F resulted in a practical, durable, and visually appealing seating solution that enhanced the functionality and ambiance of the meeting rooms. Anthony and his team are delighted with the positive impact on both staff and visitors, underscoring the success of this project.
