One of Germany’s fastest growing companies, Trivago is a hotel booking website operating in 55 global markets.

Designed by Düsseldorf architectural firm sop architekten, the new campus in the Düsseldorf Media Harbour is spread over six floors, with approximately 26,000 sqm of open plan office space. The complex also features generous open spaces and leisure facilities, including a jogging track on the roof, gym, cinema, canteen, and countless theme rooms.

Nearly 500 workplaces were equipped with the HÅG Capisco at the new campus in approximately 20 different colours. Each of them intuitively motivates their users to be more agile: the built-in HÅG in Balance® mechanism of the so-called "saddle chair" keeps the body in balance, the natural urge to move is promoted by the effortless change of seating positions. The foot-controlled movement increases blood circulation and helps to stay awake, focused and efficient. Whether seated frontally, sideways or backwards, its exceptional shape allows for unrestricted, productive work in any position.

In addition to the office workplaces, more than 330 Profim Noor adorn various conference rooms and meeting points. "The Profim Noor is a chair that is very timeless in design", explains the expert of raum.atelier. "It’s made for environments that are intended to stimulate exchange and constructive thinking. The look has a revitalizing effect and promotes the "we-feeling" - that's exactly what we need for Trivago. "

Furthermore, it was noted that the Profim Noor has a wide range of colours, from which delicate nuances in particular were in great demand. Last but not least, the model scores with its low weight: Because the chair was to used in so-called "split spaces", (i.e. in areas that can be subdivided by a mobile wall,) it is important to change it quickly and easily when the table layout changes.

With the completion of the first construction phase in the second quarter of 2018, just under 1,000 employees moved into the new experience campus. That the procurement of Flokk's seating solutions went so smoothly, Verena Hasiewicz also speaks to the great interaction of all those responsible. "The contact was excellent at all times, the support and advice from Flokk and the trusted dealer Henneveld uncomplicated, professional and warm. This helps us enormously in the implementation of such large projects. If Trivago's desire is to equip more office space in the future, Flokk products will probably top the list again. "
