Norway's leading mobile payment provider, Vipps, sought to revolutionise their workspace to foster integration, communication and creativity among employees. The goal was to design an "anti-office", a departure from traditional office layouts, that would inspire and support a variety of work styles.
Architects Radius Design conceptualised a workspace centred around a multifunctional social hub known as "the heart". This area encourages collaboration and interaction, surrounded by uniquely themed rooms such as the fluorescent "Hubba Bubba Room", the naturalistic "Jungle Room" and the concealed "Secret Room" accessed via a revolving wall.
To complement these diverse environments, Vipps selected HÅG SoFi chairs for their workstations, chosen for their user-friendly design and adaptability. HÅG Futu chairs were placed in the Jungle meeting room, blending ergonomic support with a sleek, modern aesthetic. HÅG Capisco chairs were used as touchdown seating in less focused workspaces, providing flexibility and comfort for employees moving between tasks.
The result is a workspace that breaks away from conventional office design, offering employees a variety of inspiring settings that cater to different tasks and moods. This innovative approach not only enhances comfort and efficiency but also reflects Vipps' forward-thinking ethos.
