Our sustainability aims are simple - lower our carbon emissions, lower the strain we place on natural resources and ensure a healthier environment for our customers, employees and the planet as a whole. And the way we can make the biggest impact is by focusing on our energy consumption and the materials we use. 

By switching to renewable energies as much as possible, and optomising our manufacturing processes, we are able to lower our consumption, and therefore significantly reduce our carbon emissions.

We also calculate that 90% of our environmental impact comes from the materials we use - before they even reach our factories. Switching to less energy-intensive recycled materials, and sometimes simply reducing the amount of materials used, can massively reduce the environmental impact of our company and products. 

Flokk is a growing company, regularly acquiring exciting brands to complement our furniture offering, and part of our journey is to implement Flokk’s high level of sustainable design and manufacturing on the newly acquired brands. This will, of course, affect the overall Flokk picture, which will include the environmental impact of the newly acquired manufacturing facilities and the material make-up of existing products.

Long term though, our mission remains the same – to raise the environmental standards of every Flokk brand, continual sustainable growth and development of existing and acquired manufacturing facilities, and implementing our sustainable design principles on all new designs from every Flokk brand.
